About Taylor Family Meats
Taylor Family Meats is built on generations of experience in the meat industry. Luke Taylor has been working at Queen Victoria Market since 2006, bringing decades of skill and knowledge to the Meat & Fish Hall. Together with Loretta and their four children, the Taylors continue a proud family tradition of quality, service, and care.
Today, our family still works side by side at Shop 19, where we know many of our customers by name. For us, being butchers isn’t just a job, it’s part of our family identity and connection to Melbourne’s most iconic market.

Locally Raised & Carefully Sourced
Our premium beef comes directly from our family farm in the Macedon Ranges, where cattle are raised with care on lush, open pastures. This ensures the highest quality meat with provenance you can trust.
We complement this with lamb and pork sourced from trusted Victorian producers who share our values of sustainability, freshness, and quality. By keeping our supply chain local, we minimise our carbon footprint and support Victorian farming communities.
